OBCF App Usage & Privacy Policy

Welcome to the official Ocean Beach Christian Fellowship (OBCF) App, developed and maintained by KB Designs. By using this app, you agree to the following terms of conduct, privacy, and data use.

1. Code of Conduct

This app is intended to help our church community grow in faith and serve Jesus Christ more effectively. All users must behave in a respectful and Christ-honoring manner at all times. The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the app:

  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing language

  • Foul or offensive language

  • Inappropriate or explicit images, videos, or content

  • Disruptive behavior in group chats or direct messages

2. Group Access

Some group chats (e.g., leadership teams, youth leaders, home groups) are restricted and require admin approval to join. Requests can be submitted in-app, and access will be granted as appropriate.
Public groups are available to all users without approval.

3. User Identity

All users must display their real first name in their profile. Accounts will default to an email address upon signup; this must be updated within 30 days or the account will be deactivated. Anonymous or fake accounts are not permitted.

4. Purpose and Intent

This app is a tool for connection, communication, and ministry. Please use it in a way that builds up the body of Christ and supports our mission.

5. Privacy Policy & Data Use

We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Google Play’s User Data Policy. By using this app, you consent to the collection and handling of basic usage data such as device information, interaction logs, and login timestamps, which may be used to improve functionality.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Any third-party services used in this app adhere to secure industry standards for data processing.

6. Account Deletion

If you created an account in this app and wish to delete it, you can request deletion by:

Upon receiving your request, all associated user data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days. This includes profile details, group access, and message history.
